Tractor maintenance "10 Taboos" can extend the service life of agricultural machinery by 10 years

in real life, the author observed and found that many agricultural machinery operators are "halfway monks", the maintenance technology level is low, and artificially reduce the service life and safety factor of tractors, which is really a matter of gain and loss. Therefore, after analysis and acceptance, the author summarizes the "ten taboos" of tractor maintenance, hoping to bring beneficial enlightenment and help to the majority of agricultural machinery operators. This is a historic contribution

first, do not tighten the screws and bolts hard on the screws or bolts in important parts such as the tractor transmission case, cylinder head, wheel hub, connecting rod and front axle. The use tools and tightening torque are specifically specified in the instructions. If the screws and bolts are tightened manually, they will break, or the thread will slip or buckle and cause failure. The tightening torque of ordinary screws or bolts can generally be 4 times that of threads. At present, the recycling rate of waste plastics in China is not high, and the tightening torque of diameter can be tightened

second, do not replace the lubricating oil and do not clean the oil duct. Many agricultural machinery operators lack maintenance knowledge or are lazy. They do not clean the oil duct when replacing the lubricating oil and bury hidden dangers for themselves. You should know that there are many mechanical impurities left in the lubricating oil after use. Even if the lubricating oil is drained, there are still impurities in the oil pan and oil circuit. Especially for new or overhauled locomotives, there are more impurities after test run. If they are not cleaned, they are eager to be put into use, which can easily cause accidents such as tile burning and axle holding

third, do not choose lubricating oil according to the season. Many agricultural machinery operators do not pay attention to choosing lubricating oil according to the season. They use summer lubricating oil in winter and winter lubricating oil in summer. Regardless of the quality, they buy it cheaply, resulting in bad phenomena such as difficult starting of locomotives and burning of bearing shells. It is hoped that the agricultural machinery operators should choose the lubricating oil that has passed the quality inspection and is suitable for the temperature label

IV. do not install the piston and heat it with open fire. The thickness of each part of the piston is uneven, and the degree of thermal expansion and cold contraction is different, which easily causes deformation. If the piston is heated with open fire to a certain high temperature, the metal structure will be damaged and the wear resistance will be reduced after natural cooling, and its service life will be greatly shortened

v. do not apply butter when installing the cylinder gasket. Many agricultural machinery operators are used to applying butter when installing the cylinder gasket, thinking that this can increase the tightness of the cylinder. However, this practice is just the opposite. Due to the partial loss of butter after encountering high temperature, there is a gap between the cylinder gasket, cylinder head and the plane of the engine body, and the high-temperature and high-pressure gas is easy to impact from here, damaging the cylinder gasket and causing air leakage. In addition, the butter under high temperature for a long time will produce carbon deposition, resulting in premature aging and deterioration of the cylinder gasket

VI. do not put the throttle at the maximum oil supply position. When starting the locomotive, some agricultural machinery operators are used to putting the throttle at the maximum oil supply position, which causes too much fuel injected into the cylinder and too rich mixture, which makes it difficult to start. The scientific positioning of throttle is: when the temperature is above 15 ℃, it is slightly higher than idle speed. When the temperature is below 15 ℃, the crankshaft should be idled for several rounds at first. When you feel relaxed, you can start it with a small throttle. In addition, do not blow the throttle, so as to avoid carbon deposition on cylinder and other parts, or accidental faults such as connecting rod bending and crankshaft fracture due to the uneven mixing of fuel and air due to the sudden high and low speed

VII. Don't check and maintain new cars carefully. Some young agricultural mechanization operators mistakenly believe that with the development of science and technology, the current locomotive safety performance is very reliable, so after buying a new car, they don't check and maintain it carefully except for running in and test run, resulting in frequent problems and regret. The inspection and maintenance methods are: (1) check whether there is oil in the oil pan of the three-stage air filter. (2) Check the fastening of bolts of all parts. (3) Check and adjust the injection pressure. (4) Change the oil in the oil pan and clean the oil pan and lubricating oil circuit

VIII. Do not "boil" the water tank. Sudden addition of cold water is known to most agricultural mechanization operators. Engine overload, water shortage in the water tank and poor heat dissipation will make the water tank "boil". If sudden addition of cold water is too high, the cylinder head and cylinder block will "burst". Therefore, once the agricultural machinery operators find that the water tank is "boiling", they should take emergency measures to ensure that the engine cooling water cools down by itself

IX. avoid speeding up to improve labor efficiency. Some agricultural mechanization operators think that speeding up can improve labor efficiency, but they don't know that it is closely related to the amount of fuel consumption. Practice has proved that the fuel consumption of the locomotive with rapid acceleration (25 seconds) is about twice that of slow acceleration (40 ~ 45 seconds) when the locomotive accelerates to a medium speed (30 km/h) after starting. This is because the fuel combustion is incomplete during rapid acceleration. The more frequently you start, the greater the difference in fuel consumption. Rapid acceleration is harmful but not beneficial. Therefore, it is hoped that agricultural mechanization operators should start at low gear and then slowly accelerate

X. avoid replacing brake oil and gear oil with engine oil. In practice, some agricultural machinery operators use engine oil to replace brake oil and gear oil, which is quite common, and the amount of smoke during combustion is very small and non-toxic. Various accidents caused by it are common. You should know that brake oil is the medium for transmitting pressure in the hydraulic braking system of locomotive, and its main components are castor oil and alcohol. It has good solubility, is not easy to precipitate, has no corrosion, and is in contact with the rubber body, and the expansion rate of the rubber body is small. The engine oil does not have these excellent characteristics. If it is replaced by engine oil, it is easy to precipitate and expand the rubber parts of the brake system, which easily leads to brake failure. Compared with gear oil, the viscosity of engine oil is low, and its pressure resistance, wear resistance and load resistance are also weak. If the gear oil is replaced by engine oil, the transmission gear is not easy to hang oil film, and the lubrication effect becomes worse, which will cause the early wear of the transmission gear, resulting in the effective performance of various components, and the degree of harm is incalculable
